Parker, located in Douglas County Colorado was founded in 1864. It became a municipality in 1981. It is located 20 miles southeast of Denver, Colorado and sits at an elevation of 5900 feet above sea level. Parker spans approximately 18.8 square miles and it has an approximate population of 46,000 people residing within the incorporated Town boundary.
