The City of Centennial is the seventh largest city in the metro Denver area. It was the largest incorporation of its kind in U.S. history when it was created in 2001. Residents voted to incorporate the City of Centennial on September 12, 2000 and elected its first officials on February 6, 2001. Centennial officially became a city on February 7, 2001. While relatively new, Centennial is a city focused on the future.
Centennial is located in the southern Denver metropolitan area, entirely within Arapahoe County. Centennial encompasses 28.34 miles and has approximately 103,000 residents and 36,200 households.
Centennial boasts a wonderful balance of residential, townhome, condo and patio home lifestyles.
