Broomfield is about a 20-minute drive to both Denver and Boulder, home of The University of Colorado. It is also less than 40 minutes to Denver International Airport and minutes from the Rocky Mountains. The Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport, a local, 24-hour general aviation airport is also right next door.
